Collections Representative * Job Description: Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts . *Improves collections on delinquent accounts through active review and follow up. *Duties include receiving payment and posting amount to customer's account. *Maintaining records in accordance with company policies and procedures. *Preparing statements to credit department if customer fails to respond . *Initiating repossession proceedings or service disconnection. *Keep records of collection and status of accounts. *Spends the majority of their work hours performing their duties by attempting to make verbal contact with consumers in a call center environment.  *Job Requirements: * Previous experience in consumer collections, customer service, retail, sales, or other service driven industry *Self-driven and motivated individual with the willingness to learn and meet production expectations. *Proficient with basic computer functions : Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook *Strong written & verbal communication skills *Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines *Ability to work as part of a team to meet goals *High school diploma or GED
